vs T.Hawk
Statistics:
Stamina: 1,100
Stun: 1,100
Fighting Style: Traditional Thunderfoot Clan
Fighter Type: Grappler
vs T.Hawk: 4.5 - 5.5
Pros: Weak to Breathless, slow speed
Cons: High damage output, high stamina
Move List:
Heavy Body Press - Similar to Zangief's Body Splash, good cross-up move.
Mexican Typhoon (MT) - BnB command throw. Long range, good damage.
Tomahawk Buster (TB) - Reversal move. EX can be comboed into EX CD.
Condor Dive (CD) - Air dive, armor breaks.
Condor Spire (CS) - EX armor breaks and knocks down, sets up for his throws.
Double Typhoon (S) - Good damage command throw, long range.
Raging Typhoon (U1) - Good damage and range command throw.
Raging Slash (U2) - AA ultra, does less damage than U1.
Preferred Ultra: Breathless
Good ultra against grapplers in general, punishes some of his slower pokes (cr.HK, st.HK), CD and CS.
Character Videos:
Remiem (ABE) vs. SHORYUUKENN (THK)
Tredzed (ABE) vs T.Hawk (THK)
Strategy:
To be updated.
Flipside:
To be updated.
Notes:
- Blocked CD can be punished with COD. Does not have to be reversal and if done too soon will hit T.Hawk in the air. Also can be punished with Breathless.
- Condor Dive can cross-up.
- T.Hawk set up with CS is similar to Zangief's set up with BF: T.Hawk whiffs the CS as the recovery is very quick, then goes into a throw.

t.hawk players love to you condor dive and abel's falling sky is a very good counter for it if u can time space it properly. if you feel iffy on it use ex falling sky for the invincibilty frames
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I find Falling Sky (even the EX version) being too much on the risky side of the risk vs. reward scale. A well-timed COD seems like a safer option, and gives you the opportunity to dash cancel to crouching HP and Falling Sky / Heartless combos. It could just be me, I've never had good experiences using Falling Sky as any sort of anti-air maneuver.
