Strategy:
Evil Ryu, like Akuma, has little to no stamina. Unlike Akuma though, he does not have many safe set-ups or a great vortex to rely on. His main objective is to bait or find an opening to land his very damaging combos. Play it safe and you should be fine. Other than that, he plays pretty much like normal Ryu. His mix-ups from Tenma Kuujinkyaku and his EX Axe Kick should be watched out for. Also, he recovers very quickly from his Hadouken and Shoryuken so be careful when trying to punish these two moves.

Notes:
- Shoryuken recovery is very fast, similar to Ken's.
- EX Axe Kick is an overhead (block high). It comes out pretty slow so its easy to block if you know its there.
- Simple mix-up for Evil Ryu is by using Tenma Kuujinkyaku to change up between a cross-up jp.MK to a frontal aerial hit.
- He can teleport like Akuma so make adjustments for that in your offensive plans.
